Setting up clients (EN)

On November 30, 2022 support for basic authentication in IMAP/SMTP protocols is being dropped. Only OAuth2 will continue to be available. Therefore, reconfigure your clients in time using this guide. This change affects Thunderbird users and others who use manual configuration. It does not affect Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
For full compatibility, using Microsoft Outlook is recommended.
- You can also use the default operating system application (Android (EN), iOS (EN), macOS (EN), Windows 10 (EN)) with Exchange ActiveSync support.
- Instructions for setting up Thunderbird using OAuth2 can be found on a separate page.
- If your client does not allow this connection, or for some other reason you need to configure the connection manually, use the Manual configuration section.

In addition to automatic settings, manual settings via IMAP/SMTP protocols can also be used.
