How do I set up a redirect?
According to the Rector’s order No. 7/2021 Rules of operation and use of CTU e-mail services, users are not allowed to perform automatic redirection outside the CTU e-mail system.
Will receiving mail at @cvut.cz address work for me?
Yes.
When I log in to my mailbox, I get a message that my account is blocked (Account Disabled) and my mailbox does not work even in the mail client
The mailbox is blocked automatically after the last relationship with CTU is terminated (for employees immediately, for students after the 180-day protection period). According to the current rules of operation of the CTU E-mail service, the mailbox is not automatically unblocked after regaining the relationship with CTU (e.g. enrolment) and the user can unblock it in the Usermap application according to the procedure in the article Unblocking CTU E-mail.

How do I sign up for @fit.cvut.cz? According to the instructions, I can only log in to @cvut.cz
Addresses in the form <username>@fit.cvut.cz and other addresses (e.g. name.surname@fit.cvut.cz for employees) are only aliases. Your e-mail account is always maintained under a login name in the form <username>@cvut.cz. However, you receive email at all addresses listed in Email address settings in Usermap application marked as Receiving. You can select the sending address in Usermap by setting it as preferred. Students of FIT programs are required to communicate with the school only from the address corresponding to the faculty domain, i.e. @fit.cvut.cz.
