End of study (EN)
It is recommended that you back up all important data from your mailbox before you end your last relationship with the CTU.
Interruption of study
Students who have interrupted their studies can continue using the university mailbox without any restrictions.
Termination of study
For the purposes of e-mail services, termination of studies is considered to be the end of all relationships with CTU (there is no further student, work or external relationship with any CTU unit).
If you are a successful graduate of FIT [1], your mailbox will be accessible to you after graduation.
This agenda is managed by CTU on the alumni.cvut.cz website.
You can apply for the Alumni role to maintain an active relationship with CTU on the Usermap website in the User profile > Settings > CTU Alumni
section.
Otherwise, 180 days after the end of the relationship with CTU, access to the mailbox and other services will be blocked.
The complete deletion of data and permanent termination of the e-mail service occurs 400 days after the end of the last relationship with the CTU.
Důležité:
The faculty no longer provides this service.
Reservation of future changes
The provision of e-mail services to alumni and persons with interrupted study (i.e. persons without a legal relationship with the CTU) are subject to applicable legislation, both the laws of the Czech Republic, decrees and regulations, and the internal rules and regulations of the CTU. It is likely that the format and scope of services provided in this way will change over time. The services described above may also be modified for technical and operational reasons.
- A graduate of a bachelor’s degree program at FIT is considered a successful graduate from an e-mail perspective, even if they would have failed in a follow-up master’s degree program. ↩
