End of study (EN)

It is recommended that you back up all important data from your mailbox before you end your last relationship with the CTU.

Interruption of study

Students who have interrupted their study can continue to use the university mailbox without any restrictions.

Termination of study

For the purposes of e-mail services, termination of studies is considered to be the end of all relationships with CTU (there is no further student, work or external relationship with any CTU unit).

Otherwise, after 180 days from the end of the relationship with the CTU, access to the mailbox will be blocked. [2] The complete deletion of data and permanent termination of the e-mail service occurs 400 days after the end of the last relationship with the CTU.

The provision of e-mail services to alumni and persons with interrupted study (ie. persons without a legal relationship with the CTU) are subject to applicable legislation, both the laws of the Czech Republic, decrees and regulations, and the internal rules and regulations of the CTU.

It is likely that the format and scope of services provided in this way will change over time. The services described above may also be modified for technical and operational reasons.

  1. A graduate of an bachleor’s degree program at FIT is considered a successful graduate from an e-mail perspective even if he/she would have failed in a follow-up master’s degree program
  2. During this period, students still have access to their mailboxes and can receive and send e-mail from them
