Use of the CTU network is governed by Rector’s Order No. 8/99 from 1 July 1999. By using the CTU network, user confirms that he/she is demonstrably familiar with the principles of proper use of the CTU network and that he/she has confirmed in writing that he/she knows and will abide by the rules of its use.
This regulation includes, but is not limited to, the following points:
- (Paragraph 3.7) The user shall not use or distribute illegal software and shall not copy or distribute portions of operating system and installed programs.
- (Paragraph 3.8) Each user is fully responsible for all information he/she has published on the CTU computer network.
- (Paragraph 3.11) Any user who grossly and willfully violates these rules will be prohibited from further access to the CTU network. This does not preclude further sanctions resulting from a violation of the CTU employee’s or student’s obligations
