Grammarly

Grammarly is a service designed to check and correct English texts. It also offers a browser extension that can be used when writing emails or texts directly on the web.

Anyone affiliated with FIT CTU (e.g., students or employees) is eligible for a license.

Registration

Registration can be done in two ways:

  1. Requesting a license through the ServiceDesk system.
  2. Individual registration.
Varování:

Requesting a license via ServiceDesk is the preferred and more reliable method of registration.

Upozornění:

Both types of registration must be verified by an administrator. Registration verification may take up to two business days. You cannot use the full version until your registration has been approved.

Registration via ServiceDesk

  1. On the ServiceDesk portal, go to FIT > IT Services > Other > Request a Software License.
  2. Once approved, an account will be created for the user, and a link to set up a password will be sent to their faculty email address.

  1. Log in to the ServiceDesk system.

  2. On the left, click FIT:

  3. Next, proceed to IT Services:

  6. Write your license request:

Individual Registration

  1. Go to the registration section on the Grammarly website.

  1. Go to the Grammarly website.

  2. Click Sign up:

  3. Enter your faculty email address in the format <username>@fit.cvut.cz, your full first name, and your surname:

  4. Click Agree and Sign up. By clicking, you agree to the terms of use:

Login

  1. On the Grammarly website, click Log in.
  2. Enter your university e-mail address in the format <username>@fit.cvut.cz and your password.

Browser Extension

Grammarly offers extensions directly for web browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. You can install the extension via this link.
