Operational Information

Window and Blind Controls

Blind Controls

External blinds are installed in both buildings.

They operate automatically and are lowered or raised according to weather conditions.

Room occupants can manually control the blinds using the control buttons:

  • A short press fully lowers or raises the blinds.
  • Holding the button allows the blinds to be partially lowered, raised, or tilted.
  • In building TH:A, the blinds can be lowered without fully closing the slats by briefly pressing both buttons simultaneously.

Windows in Building T9

Windows in building T9 are opened and closed using dedicated control buttons typically located near the lecturer’s desk.

  • A short press fully opens or closes the window.
  • Holding the button allows the window to be partially opened or closed.

If the windows cannot be opened due to weather conditions (typically low temperatures and rain), contact the Faculty of Architecture reception desk, which can switch the system from automatic to manual mode.

Projector

Classrooms in the TH:A, T9, and NTK buildings are equipped with a NEC P502HL-2 projector and provide Full HD (1920×1080) resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio, matching the monitors used in classrooms.

Seminar rooms JP:B-570, JP:B-571, and JP:B-671 are equipped with projectors controlled via a touch panel on the desk and an input switch located inside the desk.

  • Control panel used only for turning the projector on and off:

Door Nameplates

Materials for printing door nameplates are generated automatically by the Office Signs project, which uses information from Usermap (IdM).

The use of nameplates generated by this project is mandatory.

Department and division secretaries responsible for a room according to the dean’s room allocation directive are responsible for replacing nameplates and room lists.

Caution:

It is prohibited to manually modify or add information to nameplates or room lists. Posted nameplates and room lists must not be partially covered.

A person must have a room assigned in their profile under Usermap  User Profile  Settings  Room Settings for their name to appear on the nameplate.

Room assignments are entered by the FIT Human Resources Department.[1]

Current outputs are generated once per day and are available on GitLab.
