Windows 10 Connection

Permanent or one-time connection

1. Connect to one of FIT’s networks (see Remote connection).
2. Open a file browser.

3. Map network drive.

   
4. Select the following parameters:
   1. Drive - Select any letter.
   2. Folder - Enter the address in the form \\drive.in.fit.cvut.cz\home\<username>.
   3. For a permanent connection, enable Reconnect at sign-in.

   4. Enable Connect using different credentials.

      

5. Log in with the CTU username in the form MS\<username> and the CTU password.

   Enable Remember my credentials to connect automatically when logging in. Otherwise, the operating system prompts you to log in on startup.

   
6. After a successful connection, you can find the connected home directory in This PC › Network locations.
