Rooms
This guide covers facilities operated by FIT, specifically in the T9 and TH buildings and in the National Library of Technology (NTK).
Access to these buildings is available to all students and employees using a CTU ID card.
Detailed descriptions of individual room types can be found in the navigation menu. Instructions for operating classrooms (windows, blinds, projectors, etc.) can be found on the Operational Information page.
Room Numbering
Room numbering is standardized across CTU (the so-called KOS numbering scheme), as illustrated below:
- Building code (see table Overview of Building Codes).
- Building block (if the building is divided into blocks).
- Room number (where the prefix indicates the floor number, or
sindicates a basement level).

National Library of Technology
The NTK contains:
- Some FIT classrooms
- A lecture hall (Balling Hall)
- University Bookstore for Specialized Literature (CTU and UCT Prague)
- CTU Central Library
- and more
Jugoslávských partyzánů – Building B
The building designated JP:B is the CTU CIIRC building located on Jugoslávských partyzánů Street.
Caution:
The building is accessible only through entrance B3 and no other entrance!

Internet Access
Wireless access to the eduroam network is available throughout all facilities.
Caution:
Access via a wired connection is available only to employees and PhD students. Do not disconnect any existing network cabling.
Organizing Events
To organize an event, approval for the use of the premises must be obtained.
Each event must have exactly one responsible person.
It is recommended to first contact the ICT department helpdesk regarding technical support, safety consultations, and similar matters.
To obtain formal approval, contact the faculty Secretary’s Office.

Support
By using shared facilities, users agree to comply with the operating rules of the respective room.
Among other obligations, users must close all doors and windows when leaving.
Any penalties, including liability for damages (such as rain entering through an open window), will be handled according to the operating rules of the respective room.
How to Report Issues?
Report issues in rooms managed by the FIT ICT department through the ICT department helpdesk (see the FIT CTU room operating rules).
