News and announcements related to systems operated by the ICT Department of FIT CTU are published in different locations depending on their nature and purpose.
Introduction of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Since 1 November 2025, mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) has been in effect.

Current Service Status
The current status of ICT services can be monitored on the experimental page https://status.fit.cvut.cz/, which is updated automatically. The page also contains information about planned system outages.
Ongoing outages are announced via notifications on the ICT FIT helpdesk. For larger outages or planned maintenance, the Team-FIT › ICT channel on the MS Teams platform is also used for communication.
Please report any observed outages that have not been announced to the ICT FIT helpdesk.
News in ICT Systems
Teachers are informed about the most important updates through a regular information email sent before the start of each semester.
Updates are also gradually published here.
Backward-Incompatible Changes
As part of system development, it is occasionally necessary to introduce backward-incompatible changes. These are announced in advance on the Backward-Incompatible Changes page.
